ABOUT SPAID

Where We Started, Where We Are, Where We're Going

SPAid — Students Providing Aid — was founded by a small group of pre-med students with a single mission: get medical supplies to people who need them. What started as a single chapter has grown into a nationwide student-led humanitarian network with college and high school divisions, recognized by major global health institutions and operating shipping pipelines to partner NGOs across multiple continents.

Today, SPAid is one of the fastest-growing exclusively student-run global health organizations in the country. We coordinate with international NGOs and nonprofits, government health bodies, and major global health organizations. Our members have represented SPAid in Washington D.C. at policy debates, and our chapters are embedded in universities and high schools nationwide.

This summer marks our biggest phase of growth. We're launching our first international chapters, announcing SPAid Summer 2026, rebuilding our national infrastructure for long-term scale, and deepening partnerships we've spent years building. As many of our current leaders approach graduation, we need dedicated, driven students ready to carry this mission forward.
